Tensile Testing up to 10kN
This tensile module (compression as option) for the SEM (and a limited selection of “Atomic Force Microscops”) fits on the sample stage just like an oversize specimen. The test objects should be 20 to 60 mm long, not thicker than 5 mm.
- Load ranges: from 10N up to 5000 N (10kN option)
- Specimen dimensions in mm (max. sizes): 60 x 10 x 5
- Deformations speed range: 0.3 to 50 µm/sec.
- Displacement: The module is equipped with a linear encoder displacement gauge. This gauge covers the total displacement range up to 45mm, with a resolution of
- Electrical connection: 230/110 VAC.
- Module dimensions in mm (w x h x l): 150 x 55 x 220.

Bending Module 5kN (top view)
This deformation device can be easily mounted to the specimen stage of the SEM, just like a large size sample. To switch from 3-point bending to four-point bending is a matter of a few seconds, just exchanging the «anvil» on which the specimen rests in center. The specimens should be 28 to 40 mm long, no wider than 15 mm wide, and up to 4 mm thick.
- Load Ranges: 50N, 100 N, 200 N, 500 N, 1 000 N, 2 000 N and 5 000 N
- Specimen dimensions (maximum sizes): 40 mm x 15 mm x 4 mm
- Deformation speed range: 0.05 to 4 µm/sec, or 2 to 100 µm/sec
- Displacement range: 0 to 5 mm per experiment; the displacement gauge plunger can be zeroed or re-zeroed
- Electrical connection: 220 or 110 V AC. A 15-pin plug at the chamber wall of the SEM is supplied with the set
- Dimensions in mm (width/length/height): 100 x 120 x 55 mm
Transfer Module
The «Transfer Module» is a special device for use with an SEM. It is made for the purpose of carrying delicate and sensitive specimens in a capsule from the SEM into a glove box or vice versa, so that these specimens will be protected from air or moisture at all times. This device will mount on the specimen stage just like a microscope sample. It takes just a few moments to install it in the SEM, or in the glove box.
