Adressing Large Packages
The NW4 was designed to host large substrates while retaining the ability to pass the platform into the SEM’s main chamber via a load lock. This minimizes the time-to-result and yields higher sample throughput.
By equipping the four MM3A-EM micromanipulators with tip holders with the appropriate lengths, virtually any position on the sample can be addressed
Plug-in compatible with the PS8 Prober Shuttle
The NW4 was designed to be fully compatible with the Prober Shuttle’s vacuum-side connections and air-side hardware. This makes it effortless to switch between the two platforms depending on the task at hand at any given time.
Using different sample holders, devices, packages, and substrates of varying sizes can be accommodated.
Combining this platform with a PS8 Prober Shuttle and our Advanced Probing Tools yields a toolkit that can address a wide range of failure analysis and fault localization workflows. Nanoprobing on dies with single digit nm-sized contacts all the way to tracing mm-scale traces buried some layers deep in a device…
